Lip Augmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure in which a physician uses synthetic or biological products to safely enhance or augment the lips. The doctor may use a variety of products to achieve lip enhancement including Juvederm® , Restylane®, Belotero® or other filler materials. The physicians at Atlanta Medical Day Spa understand that the greatest fear of patients seeking lip enhancement is an overdone, unnatural result. Who would benefit from lip augmentation or enhancement?

Anyone desiring fuller lips is a candidate. Some people have thin lips to begin with while others have lip thinning as part of the aging process.

Where would my lip augmentation procedure be performed?

Lip augmentation / lip enhancement is an outpatient procedure performed in the office at Atlanta Medical Day Spa by either Dr. Atkins or Dr. Frodel, both of whom have years of experience with lip fillers and aumentation

How is the actual procedure performed?

For lip augmentation the doctor uses injectable fillers such as Juvederm® , Restylane®, or Belotero®. The lips are injected with a fine needle into the treated area.

What can I look forward to from having lip augmentation?

In patients with very thin lips, the goal may be to have a more normal appearing lips that do not make the mouth region appear aged.
For some patients, very thick and more voluptuous lips are the goal
Some patients desire a defined edge to the lip or a return to their less aged lip
