Do you want to improve your appearance without the hassle of surgical procedures?

Atlanta Medical Day Spa and Surgery Center offers a variety of treatments to get you to your desired look in as little as 1 hour with no downtime required! We call them lunchtime treatments because you can get them done over your lunch hour! Give your face a quick burst of rejuvenation with botox, dermal fillers, microdermabrasions or a chemical peel.

What’s the difference among my treatment options?

Botox is a chemical that injected into the muscles of the area where you wish to get rid of wrinkles. Botox is used specifically for frown lines in the brow area. By “freezing” these muscles, the area is slowly smoothed out revealing a new you!

Dermal fillers include products like Juvederm and Bolotero. These literally fill the area underneath wrinkles to flatten the area and remove wrinkles. Juvederm handles wrinkles around the mouth and nose.

Microdermabrasions involve using crystals or diamonds to buff the top layer of skin, thus giving way to fresh new skin with fewer imperfections. This method works best for blemishes, fine lines, and sun damage.

Chemical peels involve applying specific solutions to the skin in order to prompt the skin to regenerate healthy new skin without many blemishes. If you have more severe skin issues, our physicians may recommend a more appropriate procedure such as laser resurfacing or botox

When will I see results from my treatment?

Soon after the procedure, you can noticed results from any of these treatments. Individual results will, of course, vary.

How long will my results last?

Botox results can last for up to 4 months. Juvederm results can last up to a year. The glow you get from microdermabrasions can last up to between 2-4 weeks. Facial rejuvenation from a chemical peel can last about 2 months.

Are there any side effects associated with the procedures?

Common side effects of Botox and Juvederm include dry mouth, fatigue, headache, and eye problems such as double or blurred vision, drooping or swelling of eyelids, and dry eyes. Talk to one of our physicians to determine your risk of developing a side effect. Everyone reacts differently to the procedure, so we will be careful to make sure you are a good candidate for the treatment.

There are little to no negative side effects associated with microdermabrasion since the procedure is non-invasive.

Side effects of chemical peels include temporary or permanent skin color change depending on your skin type. Our physicians will ensure that a chemical peel is best for your specific skin type to prevent any adverse effect from occurring. There is also a low risk of scarring; if scarring does occur, it can easily be treated. There is minimal risk of reactivating cold sores; however, this can also be treated and prevented easily.
